APA Upper Limb Theraband Exercise

An individual project for Augmented Reality Development course in 2020/2021 cooperated with PERKESO Rehabilitation Center Tun Abdul Razak Melaka.

The ratio of physiotherapists in PERKESO Rehabilitation Centre to its patient is 1:5. Roughly, each physiotherapist needs to assist and handle up to nine patients every day. Besides that, there are many types of physiotherapist exercises to demonstrate to the patients.

Augmented Physiotherapist Assistant (APA) Upper Limb Thera Band Exercise is introduced and developed mainly to help physiotherapists and patients to perform the physiotherapy exercise. It is an augmented reality android mobile application that provides 3D models with animations and also videos to display the physiotherapy exercises’ steps.
By using this application, it can help intended users to do the exercises on their own and perhaps helps them to recover fast.
